Natural Hair Removal

Naturally our body and facial hair grows of its own volition so natural hair removal is almost an oxymoron. That being said, there are products on the market that allow for an all-natural approach to hair removal.

Shaving is an option for natural hair removal. The only tool required is a razor, and you can choose an all-natural shaving gel or shower gel to lubricate the process. Sugaring is another natural hair removal method in which an all-natural substance, made from sugar, lemon juice, honey, cornstarch and molasses, is placed on the area and then ripped off with a piece of cloth. Sugaring is similar to waxing so expect it to be painful, but whereas wax is made of chemical and non-natural ingredients, the sugaring substance is completely natural (you could even eat it!). Depilatory creams are out of the question as natural hair removal methods since the creams are chemically-based.

Permanent Natural Hair Removal

The permanent hair removal options available, electrolysis and laser hair removal, are not considered natural hair removal methods since the prior employs the use of electricity and the latter uses lasers. Whereas they aren't technically natural hair removal means, they do not require any chemically-based products or lotions to be placed on the skin. You can also use all-natural creams on the skin directly following treatments to soothe the area.

Laser hair removal also eliminates the unpleasant side effects associated with temporary hair removal. When you receive laser hair removal treatments, you don't have to worry about ingrown hairs, razor burn or extreme pain (as with sugaring).
